Getting Better Faster

This is the Getting Better Faster pattern from my Mental Game Mastery Course. It has been a favorite among my corporate consulting clients. More than one company with sales of over a hundred million dollars a year has asked me to present this module to their sales personnel.

This strategy was created using Andrew Agassi as the model. It will show you step by step how to increase the number of distinctions you notice, how often you notice them and how quickly and thoroughly you implement them.

 

Identify and Strengthen Your Personal Constraint

To sell masterfully is to run a system of things and do them in confluence. It's important to think of selling as a system because each part of the sales process effects all the others.

The Theory of Constraints is a highly effective method for improving any system. Here it is in brief:

Don't try to fix any system all at once, because the entire system is actually being limited by only one element. Like the weak link in a chain, that one element is determining the capability level of the whole system.

No matter how much you strengthen the other links in a chain, it's going to break at the weak link every time. You can't out perform the weak link.

Therefore: isolate, focus on, and strengthen the weak link in the system. Concentrate your attention and resources there. When it's been strengthened, the entire system is stronger and capable of more.

Once the weak link has been made stronger, it's time to identify the new weak link. There is always a weak link in every system that is determining the productivity level of the entire system.

This process is ongoing and constitutes a world class method for continuously improving any system - including and especially your personal selling system.

 

Your Chain of Gold

 

You may already be realizing how the Theory Of Constraints applies to you and your sales performance level and career.

Your ongoing sales performance is a dynamic system; a set of skills, habits, beliefs and actions that could be described as a beautiful chain of gold.

So what's the weak link in your chain? What's the one aspect of your sales system that limits all the rest?

In this training we'll identify it. I'll help you clarify it precisely so you can start working on improving it in measurable ways. You'll leave this training with a personal plan of action steps for improving the weak link in your personal sales system.

More importantly, you'll learn how to apply the theory of constraints to your sales career so you can use it for the rest of your life.

The set of techniques you'll learn in this part of the seminar are based on Goldratt's original theory of constraints and on the work of William Dettmer. They'll show you how to break the constraints to world class performance.

We'll be covering specific sales related language patterns for overcoming objections, trial closing, identifying your prospects real needs and values, closing, qualifying, pre-framing, and much more.

We'll also be covering some of the most advanced, hypnotic and influential language patterns available including selected patterns from the Milton Model and the Meta-Model.

The training will also include the Customer Service and Referral by Design process I modeled as part of a special project for the Bluegreen Corporation.

Bluegreen is a public company based in Florida. They specialize in Land Sales. In the project, I was hired to behaviorally model Bluegreen's top sales people and referral getters and teach their strategies to the rest of the sales force.

The top 2% of Mortgage Originators in the U.S. were also modeled.

You'll learn every part of the model including the exact language to use to generate an automatic stream of referrals.

Your New Self Image

We'll be using a technique I created called The New Identity Swish™, from my advanced NLP trainings.

It's a way to create a new designer self image and identity, make certain that this new self image is ecological*, and then give it a stable configuration in consciousness so it moves through time.
